Did you look at rings together?

Why yes we did. And we picked it out right on the spot. I never had a formal proposal, more like Ron asked me one day "hey...let's get married." Ok...I don't know if that counts as a proposal or more of a statement? But either way, I was pretty excited! So once it was decided, then we went to go pick out a ring. Back-asswards, I know :)

Do you like your ring? Did you from the beginning?...and be honest!

Of course I do, silly! It was picked by me from the beginning!


I had a hard time picking one out and just couldn't find a ring that screamed "Pick me! Pick me!" Luckily we had a great jeweler who picked up on my frustration. After getting to know me a little better, she went to the back, brought out a ring, and in that instant, I fell in love. (With the ring...not her :P)

How often do you wear your rings?

Always. Always. Always. Except when I shower or do the dishes. 

Do you clean your rings?

I do. Not as often as I should. The Jared's people always yell at me for not coming in on schedule. ha! Sometimes when I just need a quick fix, I wash it gently in some good ol' arm & hammer! (please don't yell at me all you jewelry buffs. lol)

What went through your mind the very first time you saw your ring?

It's soo me! But oy, how much is this gonna cost?!

ok...it's not that serious, but still! What better thing to do on my day off from school then to come back to school and study for 5+ hours and counting?! Oh the demands of nursing school! At least I have my own private study room :) Figured I'd take a break and blog real quick before my eyeballs fall out of my head.

Tuesday already?!

Wait...is today? Why yes, it already is! Hello March! Where in the heck did you come from?!

Welp, it was back to the daily grind yesterday...so I haven't had much going on besides school, school, and hey whadda ya know? More school!

Oh, and I've been contemplating on joining my sister Angie on her weight loss journey. It's March now...which means warm weather is just around the corner (hello rompers and sundresses!) and pretty soon bikini season hits (cringing face). Oy! But when you have hypothyroidism, it's not always the easiest to lose the weight. I've never been a skinny kid. In fact, I've always been "big-boned" (god...what an awkward term). And just like most girls...I've been at my best weight when I was in high school. That is, until I turned 16. When all I felt like doing was sleeping and just felt tired all the time. Long story short...I was inevitably diagnosed with hypothyroidism and have yo-yo'd on the scale the past 7 years. UGH. But what better motivation than a wedding down the road and a sister who I can lean on for support? Stay tuned for the ultimate decision...
